Although the lake is closed while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills areas has to offer. Pawleys Place is welcoming guests. Come to Pawley's Place as a peaceful retreat and "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald and local area wineries, breweries, trails, music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Come support these wonderful local businesses!
